• ETemplate Systems, developer of the 3D templating and measuring system ETemplate Photo, announced the signing early last month of a five-year purchase agreement with ErgoMeasure Pty. Ltd. of Ashfield, Australia, with a value in excess of $1.5 million. This order for products and services is believed to be the largest order for templating technology in the world.
• Chemcore Industries recently opened a second location in the Atlanta area to better serve stone fabricators in the eastern United States, carrying the full Chemcore sink and faucet lines; the new toll-free number is 866-645-2007. Austin, Texas-based Chemcore also recently purchased and moved to a new 40,000 ft² warehouse/office facility in Austin
• Romeoville, Ill.- based Laser Products Industries Inc. recently signed on as an education sponsor for the International Solid Surface Fabricators Association.
• Hallmark Stone received the Kitchen and Bath Excellence Award during the 2007 Silestone® Annual Distributor Meeting, held recently in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The Fenton, Mo.-based granite and quartz fabricator receive the honor due to its outstanding efforts to capture and grow the kitchen and bath segment of the retail market; it previously received the award in 2006.
