   CLEVELANDGuido C. Gliori of Grazzini Brothers & Co. is the new president of the Marble Institute of America, succeeding Jim Hogan of Carrara Marble Company of America at the trade group's annual meeting this month.

   Gliori joined Eagan, Minn-based Grazzini Brothers in 1981, and has served as the company’s executive vice president since 2000. He was elected to the MIA Board of Directors in 2004.
    Grazzini Brothers became the first Accredited Commercial B Contractor earlier this year.
    Other MIA officers will be elected this month during the association’s annual meeting, held in conjunction with StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas in Las Vegas.
    Also, the three new members of the MIA board are. Mike Twiss of Columbia Stone in Tualatin, Ore. (Zone 7: Pacific/West Coast, Alaska and Hawaii); Rod Harvey of Curtain Wall Design and Consulting in Dallas (Zone 5 Mid-South – Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas); and Otis Moore of Fine Line Pacific in Kent, Wash. (At-Large position).
