• Biesse America appoints Fabrizio La Volpicella to key account manager for leading sales efforts in the western United States. He most recently served as a regional sales manager for Biesse Canada; his sales team includes two new territory sales representatives, Lonnie Campbell and Todd Gomez.
• Rich LaRocca, Peter Mileo and Michael Weaver join Trans Ceramica in
Chicago as special projects managers. The three will join Missy Walker
in managing new specifications and national account opportunities for
the company, which manages U.S. operations for GranitiFiandre of
Castellarano, Italy.
• Innovative Stone LLC appoints Ciska Kruger as chief operating officer
(COO). After joining the Hauppauge, N.Y., stone fabricator and
distributor in 1998, she served as director of marketing/business
development, and also served as president of the company’s Residential
Business Unit.
• Bonsal American names Mike McLawhorn as territory sales manager for
its ProSpec® tile-installation products in North Carolina, South
Carolina and Virginia. Before joining the Charlotte, N.C.-based
company, he earned more than 16 years of experience in the flooring and
tile-setting materials industry, including owning his own
tile-installation business.
• Dan Herzog joins Worldwide Superabrasives of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.,
as regional sales manager for the midwest United States. Herzog’s 40
years of experience in the industry include market development and
sales for GE Superabrasives, management positions at Wendt, and as
president of the Industrial Diamond Association of America.
