Installing mosaic on the arched ceiling proved to be a challenge for the installers. A traditional method of lath-and-plaster created an arch with a perfect radius to match the 1 1/4” Bottocino marble trim around the window. For reinforcement, the stone was slotted and rodded with stainless-steel support before fabrication. (Photos by M. Sean McClintock Photography/courtesy Southwest Tile & Marble)
