A User Guide to Stone Business Online
   Welcome to Stone Business Online. While you’ll find many items from our print title, Stone Business, in online form, we also offer Web-only features and expanded content to make this a powerful resource for the dimensional-stone industry
   As with anything else in the dynamic nature of the Web, Stone Business Online is constantly undergoing updates and introducing new features. And, those who aren’t familiar with the print magazine won’t be familiar with our standard features. Think of this guide as a map to point you in the right direction for some of the industry’s best coverage.
   You’ll always find up-to-the-minute coverage on our home page with The Latest From Stone Business. We update news as it happens – often in greater depth than space allows in the print edition.
   The home page also features the latest installment of Notes From a Busy Editor, the weekly blog from Stone Business Editor Emerson Schwartzkopf. Whether its the story-behind-the-big story in the trade, import trends or observations on stone, it’s bound to appear here; there’s also an archive of past blog entries.
   You also don’t need to keep checking our Website to get the latest news and blogs. We’ll let you know immediately via RSS feed, and you can subscribe here.
   The Articles button on the Main Menu leads to our archives of coverage from Stone Business in print. Our regular lineup from the magazine includes:
   • Fabricator Focus, profiling stone-fabrication shops and the people who run them;
   • JobSight, examining natural-stone use in projects through the eyes of clients and fabricators;
   • A Clean Perspective, offering a window on the restoration/renewal business from one of North America’s best, Tom McNall;
   • The Installer, giving a from-the-field perspective from long-time installer Jason Nottestad; and
   • Spall, giving the editor yet another chance to amuse, exasperate and inform over issues of the day.
   Other areas of note in our archives include Import Trends, a collection of biannual reports on dimensional-stone coming into the United States; and Going Green, focusing on stone and sustainability issues.
   Stone Business publishes the most-comprehensive listing of fabrication equipment, including bridge saws, edgers and CNC production centers. All of these are collected in the Machine Guide section for easy access (even with its own button on the Main Menu).
   There just isn’t enough room in the print edition to print a full listing of trade shows and educational opportunities. So, you’ll find the industry’s most-comprehensive Calendar here at Stone Business Online.
   Still can’t figure out how to find something? Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered with our powerful Search feature. It’s at the top right-hand corner of each and every page (and there’s a button on the Main Menu, too).
   Thanks for dropping by Stone Business Online. And check this user guide every now and then – there’s bound to be something new.
